The Sampler is the brilliant brainchild of Marie Kare. Each month sample goodies from online indie businesses (crafting folks, record labels, zines and so on) are bundled up and sent out to about 400 subscribers.
Marie is currently seeking special submissions. On June 1st, 185 gift boxes from The Sampler will be given out at the MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show Style Lounge.

Vegan Lunch Box has been serving up its readers a voyeristic look into the everyday Mom-made lunch of a vegan kid. It answers the burning question of what do vegans eat, while giving good tips on spicing up everyday lunches for kids (and grown ups!).
One of my favorite entires is the subversion of a Make-Your-Own Twinkies kit with vegan recipes for the cake and filling.
