Closet Organization Part 4: Midwest Wardrobes
Why is it that real estate in California is so over-inflated that even the closets cost more than rent in other states? Here’s my solution to that problem, all for under $20, including the boxes and hamper.
Materials
2 20” x 60” MDF
5 15” x 20” MDF
Box of 1 ¼” wood screws
Wood glue (optional)
Directions
1) Pre-drill holes. 2) Using the two larger pieces, one 15” x 20” piece and the wood screws, assemble the top and sides of the unit into the shape of a large “U.” 3) Insert shelves every 10” down. 4) Using the fifth piece of MDF or scrap pieces, create/secure the bottom of the unit. If you do not, the unit will be very wobbly. Trust me.
