
Craving something sweet and summery? Follow this recipe for cherry and almond chocolate muffins that are so deliciously indulgent, everyone will fawn over you for making them.
You will need:
2 Cups of Plain Flour
¾ Cup of Milk
½ Cup of Sugar
½ Cup of Cherries
¼ Cup of Flaked Almonds
¼ Cup of Chocolate Chips / Flakes
¼ Cup of Unsalted Butter
1 Large Egg
1 tbsp of Baking Powder
¼ tsp of Salt
Grease Proof Paper

Sieve the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar in to a large mixing bowl. |

Mix in the chocolate, almonds and cherries. |

Crack and whisk the egg in a separate bowl. Melt the butter and then whisk in to the egg. Add the milk and the shot of ameretto. |

Mix the wet ingredients in with the dry ingredients. |

Cut 12 7″ squares of grease-proof paper. Place 4 tbsp of the mixture in to the middle of each square and then tie with string. Pop the parcels on to a baking tray and cook in an oven at 400° for 25 minutes. After 10 minutes remove the strings from the parcels and allow them to fall open before continuing to cook for the remaining 15 minutes. |
