No longer are you limited to installing elaborate radiant heating systems under your flooring. All you want is another unobtrusive way to bring heat into a room and these invisible heating panels can be installed in your ceiling, floors, and walls and convert 100% of electrical power into heat.
This simple but impressive project comes from Ahn-Minh. She had the plexiglass cut to size and the mounting holes drilled at Tap plastics, and used double sided tape to mount photographs inside.
On an art walk this summer in Cleveland’s Little Italy district, I fell in love with these sculptures. Though Artemis Herber’s sculptures look like metal, they’re actually cardboard. Check out more of his amazing work here.
Epiphytes are plants that can survive above ground and do not rely on soil to gain nutrients but rather absorb what they need through their leaves.
You can collect most vegetable seeds without much fuss. Beans are literally left on the plant until they dry out, while peppers are as simple as scooping out the seeds and setting them to dry. Tomatoes call for a slightly more complex method.
