Bird’s Eye View
The HGTV Room Planner is quite the handy tool. I’m generally not a fan of applications like this - so many fiddly bits to learn - but I was pleasantly surprised with how intuitive this one is, and consequently how useful. All the pieces you drag to the workspace are already an average size, but you can change the dimensions right there while you’re working with it, left click over the object to open a menu of options. Putting together a floor plan of my kitchen was painless and even fun. If you are playing with furniture arrangements this easily beats out paper diagrams.
