I have a small yard and no space that would work well for a composting bed, but I can certainly find room for the Green Cone. It is a covered system with a basket sunk into the ground to release the broken down food waste directly into your soil, the cone on top catches sunlight creating a nice warm environment for the bacteria to do it’s work. The cover also keeps in odors.

The frost we experienced in California this last week is said to have destroyed three-quarters of the entire citrus crop, and upwards of a billion dollars in damage for farmers. And not to make fun of that, my garden is pretty trashed, too. Make that estimate a billion and one dollars, then.
