Easy inventory for your fridge
Faith over at Apartment Therapy: The Kitchen posted a great tip yesterday about keeping track of what’s in your fridge: post your grocery receipts on the door. She aptly describes two distinctly different types of shoppers—those who buy less and shop often, and those who stock up to keep grocery getting to a minimum. I’m a card-carrying member of the latter group and, like Faith, I sometimes forget what’s in there until stuff starts going bad. I’ll definitely be following her advice and highlighting the food items on the receipt that need to make it to the table in a timely manner. What a great way to prevent yourself from 1) wasting food and 2) spending money on grub that you won’t be able to eat!
