Roll with it
Is it me, or does this $900 (plus delivery!) “Rolly Shelving” (read: bookcase) from The Conran Shop look just like Ikea’s “Expedit” on wheels? I nearly fell out of my chair this morning when I saw the Conran version listed in Apartment Therapy’s Classifieds (which are a great resource for reduced-price high-design stuff, by the way) for $600, having just assembled a $129 Ikea model last night. Now, math isn’t my strong suit, but it seems to me that an Expedit + casters = $770 to spend on other stuff. Just sayin’.
