Jenny Hart, the wonder woman who took the oi out of embroidery by founding Sublime Stitching, has commissioned a new line of patterns designed by artists. Kurt Halsey kicks off the series, which was just released last week, along with three new designs by Hart. Other artists who’ve already signed on include Mitch O’Connell and Julie West. “As a designer myself, I like being in the ‘manufacturer’s’ seat,” Hart says. “I can offer these artists fair contracts and not interfere with their creativity, having experienced this problem with other manufacturers who seek to license my designs.”
For just $3, you’ll get one 8 1/2 x 11″ sheet of multi-imprinting, iron-on embroidery patterns. Simply press them onto any fabric and stitch along the lines. Each pack also comes with complete instructions to help aspiring embroiderers get started.
