Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories has posted a great tutorial on how to make wine glass charms from inexpensive electronic components, and I like the subtle geek look. The instructions walk you through soldering the loops shut to make a semi-permanent charm, as well as tell you which components to avoid using since they cannot get wet. (Don’t worry, the charms are easy to snip and remove in the case that you change your mind.)
