That sleek white Mac of yours will soon be available in in green. Steve Jobs, the king of Apple’s ever-growing iPod-filled orchard, has announced that he wants to do more than simply upstage PCs and take over the world; he also wants to help save it. Apple’s brand new “A Greener Apple” campaign promises not only to remove toxic chemicals—including lead, arsenic, and mercury—from the company’s new products, but also to more aggressively recycle its old ones. Here’s hoping more technology companies follow suit.
