Plan your weekend: Maker Faire
We know you know. The Maker Faire is already on the radar of all self-respecting tinkerers and makers in the San Francisco Bay Area. But did you know that ReadyMade will be there, too? Stop by the San Mateo Fairgrounds this weekend for a chance to represent and test your crafter credentials with the iron chef of DIY: a timed MacGyver challenge.
Simply visit the RM booth (we’ll be in the Expo Hall in the building with the Maker Stage) and sign yerself up to rumble with your fellow ReadyMakers in our Duchampian battle of wills. Who will create the most useful and beautiful object from a collection of items found lying about our office? Only time shall tell. But those who emerge victorious will not go unrecognized: All winners will score a ReadyMade “fashion item” (otherwise known as a t-shirt), a free subscription, and a very handy, 2-in-1 tape measure-and-level combo.
