Pitchfork recap
Now that the dust from last weekend’s three-day Pitchfork Music Festival has settled, we thought we’d share our photos from the trip with those of you who couldn’t make it out to Chicago this time around (we missed you!). Simply head on over to our Flickr page to check ‘em out!
Held in the city’s Union Park, the show drew such headliners as Sonic Youth, Yoko Ono, and De La Soul, plus red-hot up-and-comers like Dan Deacon, Girl Talk, Iron and Wine, and Jamie Lidell. As concertgoers danced, ate, drank, and shopped up a storm, we stayed busy at our interactive booth, selling subscriptions, customizing T-shirts, and meeting a ton of awesome readers, both old
and new. We barely had time to check out the music, but we loved every moment of it.
Special ReadyMade shout outs: thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, to Alternative Apparel for their bunny-soft tees and to Stencil 1 for their killer stencils, and to the volunteers who hauled cold drinks in the heat and missed their trains to save our butts. Three late nights, four early mornings, and tons of great memories. See you next year!
