Calling all artists, crafters, DIY-ers, and life-learners: I just got an e-mail from some friends of mine announcing the awesomely creative venture they’re launching, Made From Scrap. It’s a new opportunity for creative folks in the San Francisco Bay Area to get together, learn, and make stuff. The goal is to offer workshops in a wide variety of topics (from electronics to fashion to woodworking to ceramics) with an emphasis on re-cycling, re-using, and re-inventing. They are currently seeking instructors, as well as suggestions for workshops, so check out their site, sign up for the newsletter, and get involved.
