A poor man’s stained glass?
We recently moved, and though I’ll spare you all the unpleasant details, there was one bright spot in the whole mess. Since we don’t yet have any curtains for the bedroom—and since we didn’t really want to entertain our neighbors with any Rear Window-style intrigue—we “decorated” with bubble wrap. I happily stole the idea from ReadyMade contributor Thomas Wold, and seeing as that we’re up to our necks in the stuff, it made perfect sense to tape it up on the windows. The “poor man’s stained glass” gives us all the privacy we need, and lets in great light during the day. Problem (temporarily) solved.
