If the name Blitzen Trapper brings to mind an image of the fad-tastic Trapper Keeper instead of the Portland-based band, you best be making your way to Noisepop—the San Francisco showcase of indie music artistry that starts one week from today, on February 26, 2008. In addition to performances by the likes of Cursive and the Magnetic Fields, among others, Noisepop presents art and film exhibits, a day-long education session where aspiring musicians can get tips on everything from schmoozing to running an indie label, and the craftacular Pop and Shop event—where ReadyMade will be hosting a booth.
