Forget me not(es)
In my continuing quest to stay organized, I found FutureMe. The low-tech site allows forgetful folks to write a reminder and have it e-mailed to them on a (future) date of their choice—eliminating the waste of paper notes, which can easily be lost or overlooked, and relieving anxiety over failing to remember stuff.
And in addition to serving as a newfangled string-around-the-finger, the folks behind the site recently compiled a book, Dear Future Me, that features 200 of the most interesting “public but anonymous” letters that have been posted to the site.
Now, aren’t you forgetting something?
