Step away from your computer screen
What’s your worst tech addiction? Do you find yourself obsessively “keeping in touch” with people on Facebook and MySpace? Zoning out in front of the tube, watching hours of HGTV? Following link after link down the endless rabbit hole of the Internet? In an effort to quell similar symptoms, web junkie Ariel Meadow Stallings created 52 Nights Unplugged.
For one day each week, users vow to log off, unplug, and do something sans screen. Imagine having 52 whole nights a year reserved just for crafting, letter-writing, bike-riding, reading, gardening, snuggling, cooking—the options are endless. Sounds to me like heaven unplugged.
So take a night off, will ya? The Internet will still be here when you get back.
