For the (SF-based) glue gun renegades out there…
If you’re an Bay Area maker who envies your craft counterparts in Brooklyn and Chicago, your days of jealousy are through: The Renegade Craft Fair is coming to San Francisco (and accepting applications from those who’d like to sell their wonderful wares from now through May 2nd). The event will take place on July 12-13, 2008, showcasing up to 200 vendors at the Fort Mason Festival Pavilion.
Ready to apply? Take note: Because the Fair typically receives at least twice as many applications than it can accept, a jury will choose only the top-notch entries. Entries will be judged on quality, uniqueness, how well they fit in with the Fair’s definition of “Renegade” (meaning DIY and contemporary), and how well they’re represented on the application. (If you like, you can check out the Renegade Flickr sets to peruse past offerings.) Good luck!
