Enlarge and in charge
My love of photobooth pictures is thwarted by two unfortunate facts: 1) original dip-and-dunk booths that still use actual film are rapidly disappearing (and being replaced by digital ones), and 2) it’s difficult to find photo strip-sized picture frames. Janet of the Oi Joy Photo blog has bypassed the frame problem, at least, by enlarging her family photobooth shots into separate 8 x 10s. Why didn’t I think of this? Alternatively, artists at the Tate Gallery in Berlin enlarged entire strips of photos into a sort of self-portrait wallpaper. Want to find a booth a near you? Visit The Photobooth Blog for all things photobooth, including a directory of the remaining dip-and-dunk varieties. And don’t forget to smile!
