Free downloads: New old music
ReadyMade loves free music. (Who doesn’t?) So of course we were delighted to hear that shoe company PF Flyers has partnered with Dangerbird Records to offer free downloads of classic songs from 1956, re-recorded by such in-the-now acts as Darker My Love, Eulogies, The One AM Radio, and Dappled Cities. (Why 1956? The collaboration celebrates PF Flyers’s “archival release” of a sneaker style, the 1956 Bob Cousy All-American.)
