Cover girl: Create a custom cosy for an unsightly spare tire

Craftster user Lindsey goes to eleven has come up with an artful way to cover the ugly logo on the back of her Toyota’s spare tire cover: Turn it into a record! With little more than Cel-Vinyl paint, spray paint, and a Sharpie Lindsay transformed her spare tire into a life-size 45.
Amongst the airbrushed seacapes, American flags, and bald eagles that typically decorate spare tire covers, Lindsey’s “Daytripper” LP stands out in a good way. And she isn’t the only cover girl out there: Be sure to check out chesireelephant’s Robo-tastic version, made from two tablecloths, and Joeythegirl’s rock-inspired rendition, which dons a Led Zeppelin appliqué.
‘Cause if you can make a custom cover, why drive around with somebody else’s logo on your caboose?
