Hanging around: From pants to pictures (to the MacGyver Challenge)
As far as I’m concerned, there are never too many ways to display photographs, prints, and posters. So a big thank you to Poppytalk for featuring a great idea from the latest O at Home Magazine—use pant hangers to display photographs. Not only is the idea worthy of our current MacGyver Challenge (we can’t wait to see what else can be made out of clothes hangers!), but it’s a great option for renters. As it turns out, Oprah’s genius team wasn’t the first to suggest the pant-hanger portrait display: long ago, the bloggers behind Ladies and Gentleman used the technique in their living room (shown here) to hang art without marring their their rented walls. Once you’ve used a handful of hangers to air out your photographic laundry, don’t stop there: come up with another use for hangers and send it our way.
