It’s an illusion! Build an invisible bookshelf
Instructional video website VideoJug has posted a a great DIY project inspired by those invisible bookshelves that are popping up everywhere these days. To make your own floating shelf check out the video for play-by-play instructions. No extraordinary tools are required: just your basic screwdriver, drill, L-bracket, utility knife, and glue. You’ll start by cutting into a big book, so be sure to choose one you never plan on reading again. For those with no room for a bookcase, it’s quick project that will allow you to levitate your library up and out of the way.
