The Sampler is the brilliant brainchild of Marie Kare. Each month sample goodies from online indie businesses (crafting folks, record labels, zines and so on) are bundled up and sent out to about 400 subscribers.
Marie is currently seeking special submissions. On June 1st, 185 gift boxes from The Sampler will be given out at the MTV Movie Awards Pre-Show Style Lounge.

Ehow.com has some great ideas and how-tos for Easter (scroll down). There are simple things that kids can do like instructions on how to dye eggs with food-colouring or crepe paper, or you could be a little more clever and try spinning eggs in the dye for a swirled effect.
There are lots of instructions to follow to create different Easter baskets for different people, including Make an Easter basket for a Vegan friend - a kind reader has also added a recipe for vegan chocolate treats.
