This season Tord Boontje has collaborated with Target and created a line of products for the holidays, as well as designing the store decorations and packaging. While most of the attention is focused on his line of dishes and glassware, I particularly like the line of home decorations.
One of my favorite blogs to sift through is Real Baking, the site of cookbook author, food expert, and really nice person Rose Levy Beranbaum. She talks about her travels, things going on around her town, and recipes she is trying out, as well as offering baking advice and recipes you know you can trust.

Inspired by watching a pumpkin hurling last weekend, I’ve been looking up how to make a trebuchet. Not surprisingly, the internet has plenty to offer.
Here are some sites which offer the type of Halloween food which often jumps right over cute and goes right to “I can’t eat that”.
Finally a site devoted to bringing Hallow’s Eve into the devil’s workshop of power tools and fire extinguishers. Be afraid: Extreme Pumpkins has some truly diabolical ideas.
