Shhhh….it’s a secret
Post Secrets is one of my greatest secrets (well at least it used to be). The blog posts scanned images of creatively crafted postcards mailed to the site’s administration. A new set of lies, betrayals, fears, desires and confessions is posted every Sunday.

I love those new LG washer and dryers. My budget does not. That commercial where the lady “steam refreshes” her dress gets me every time. Instead of taking out a loan to refresh my clothes, I simply place them in the dryer with a damp towel. Not only do I use the method to refresh my clothes, I also use it to take wrinkles out of newly purchased linens such as curtains.
Shoe Carnival
If you have to reinvent the wheel, I think that shoe storage is as good of reason as any. The folks at Rakku have taken a new spin on shoe storage with this unit that holds 20 pairs of shoes.

Picture books aren’t just for kids. Charlotte and Peter Fiell’s 1000 Chairs (Taschen Publishing) covers the history of chairs over the last 150 years. This book is a furniture maker’s inspirational dream. Whether your style is Eames or easy, plastic or plush, there is something to inspire all. Personally, I have my eye on the MDF chairs.
